HBO has given the greenlight for 10 episodes based on George R. R. Martin’s fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire. The pilot is in post-production now and no word on how far into the books (or just book) the season will go.
Yours truly has reviewed most of the series, starting with “A Game of Thrones.”

Interesting. I just started re-reading A Game of Thrones over the weekend. Still waiting on book 5 to arrive.
…and waiting, and waiting…
I have been waiting something like six years for the next book. What is worse, the 3rd/4th book has been re-released under a different cover, and broken up from one book into two books with slightly different titles in that time, which fooled me into thinking it was a different book, so I have bought them a total of three times.
I really like the series and Martins writing style. Just wish there wasn’t such a l-o-n-g wait for the next book.
