The Weakly Movie Numbers

The only definitely-themed SF/Fantasy film on the charts this week, Dungeons & Dragons, was number 5 with a crossbow bolt last weekend, grossing just over $7 million. “The Grinch” is still pimpin’, doubling that and then some.

In completely unrelated news that didn’t justify its own story, the rumor mill reports that William Shatner may quit doing those goofy Priceline commercials. It may be related to the fact that his pay was in stock options, which have dwindled from $20 million in value to about $250,000.
