  1. Ahhh.. x-files gone.
It’s going to be weird to have no x-files on Sunday. I may just have to pop in a DVD every sunday night and watch. That is unless they put something good at 9:30. I hate the fact that King of the Hill (which was stale after about 2 episodes) is given preferential treatment over futurama. At the very least, they could move Futurama to 9:30. I wonder what will end up 7:30 now?

I really wish Fox would learn their lesson. It was a one-time deal with the X-files on Friday… I don’t think they can hit gold again. Why not give Firefly a chance and put it on Sunday at 9? grrr.

Fox has decided to stick to comedy only on
Sunday nights. The Simpsons stay where they are,
Malcolm In The Middle gets pushed back half an
hour, and both are used as lead-ins for new sitcoms. One
stars Randy Quaid, but I don’t remember if it’s on between
      them or after Malcolm.

      All is not lost, though.
The WB has announced its plan to move Angel to
the time slot that The X-Files just vacated, so
there’s still good new genre stuff on at that hour. The
summer reruns of Angel have already made the
      move.

Sometimes I wonder if WB is trying to kill angel. Last years episode flow was horrible with long waits between new episodes, and the breaking up of the buffy angel back to back was strange at first. Now moving it to sunday night is going to be wierd as well, I doubt they’ll pick up many New ex-X files viewers but that seems like the attempt. Perhaps the later hour will allow the show to get even darker and more adult in content? Buffy sure gave up on the being for young teens last season maybe angel will as well. God I hope they don’t screw up the show.

I’ll watch Anything that joss makes so I’ll be there watching firefly on friday but I do think it’ll need to move in order to survive for long.

What about bringing Family Guy back at 7:30 or 8:30? I’d rather have that than any other Fox show, personally.
