Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “I’ve seen nothing that comes out this week, in many cases due to complete disinterest. Give it a couple of weeks, and that’ll turn around.” Alex says, “If you’ve been waiting to upgrade your DVD of Predator to Blu-Ray because you wante toget the same special features, this is the week you’ve been waiting for. Otherwise, like Blaine, I reccomend waiting a couple weeks.”

  1. I’ll probably be picking up Eureka eventually, but I really dislike the practice of splitting a full season up into two DVD sets.

    • I completely agree with this – SyFy’s now standard practice of splitting seasons up into half-portions, originally done because of BSG’s large pause during mid-seasons, is an abuse of their market.

  2. I really enjoyed Hot Tub time machine. There were a lot of winks to the audience when it came to common time travel tropes. Chevy Chase has a great minor role in this too. It’s good to see him in a movie again. I highly recommend it to anyone who misses those cheeky 80s comedies.
