For my pick, I’m going with Poirot 5, though technically I won’t get to see Appointment with Death, as I’ll be at San Diego Comic Con when it airs on PBS. However, I saw the versions of Murder on the Orient Express and Third Girl, and I was definitely impressed.” Blaine says, “if you’re looking for Blu-Ray, BSG and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon are both great. Metropolis is always nice on DVD, too.”

    • Not to my knowledge. Kino Video has the rights to those, for a rumoured Blu-Ray release down the road. The DVDTee releases are by a different group. I’ve never picked one up, so I don’t know what quality they’ve got, but I’ve been very impressed with Kino thus far.
