Weekly Digital Disk Picks for September 28th, 2010

This is one of those weeks with a doorcrasher so highly anticipated that most other studios avoided the same release date. Unless, of course, they could piggyback a related product. Expect a lot of superhero titles on Tuesday.

  1. Looks like Iron Man 2 is on my agenda for the week. And Scrubs might be, but it can wait.

I’d go for the box set of Scrubs, but I already own the previous 8 seasons, and I’d hesitate to call what was on last year a “Season 9”, since it was more like Scrubs: The New Class, but it didn’t catch on.

      • It was amusing for sure, but in my heart it just wasn’t “Scrubs” as it should have been. They should have renamed it instead of trying to retain the old name. I think if it had broken off a bit more it would have had a better chance.

Given more time it would have been a lot more enjoyable. I started out hating Cole but by the end of the season thought he was hilarious, same with some of the other characters (but he had the most drastic change for the better).
