Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “going strictly with what I’ve seen, I’d go with the Original Christmas Classics on Blu-Ray. However, given the combined track records of Ingmar Bergman and the Criterion Collection, I’m pumped about The Magician.” Alex says, “I haven’t seen all of Sengoku Basara. However, I have seen enough to make me feel comfortable making it my pick of the week.”
According to Amazon comments, the Smokey & the Bandit collection includes the following:
Smokey and the Bandit (1977)
Smokey and the Bandit II (1980)
Smokey and the Bandit 3 (1983)
Bandit: Bandit Goes Country (1994)
Bandit: Bandit’s Silver Angel (1994)
Bandit: Beauty and the Bandit (1994)
Bandit: Bandit Bandit (1994)
I highly recommend “How to Train Your Dragon.” While it deviates from the book (the vikings are supposed to train them, not kill them) it’s a fun movie with a lot of heart and a good message for kids. Not to mention, some awesome animation sequences.
