The season premier of Angel runs tonight. Did they maintain the quality the last season ended with?

except for what happened to Holtz’s letter. Didn’t it explain that it wasn’t Angel? I don’t remember Connor reading it last season, or else he would have changed his mind?!? Perhaps it’s still in Angel’s pocket after being underwater for 3 months?

He read it, but it didn’t mention the suicide. Connor believed that Angel wrote the letter after killing Holtz, and it was implied last night that Angel believes Holtz chose his manner of death so that Connor would think that Angel killed him. I always thought that Justine just took advantage of that situation.
