Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “Inception is in my Netflix queue, but as I haven’t seen it yet I don’t feel comfortable picking it.” Blaine says, “the massive Fox collection is easily the best value, and is guaranteed to have something for everyone. (It’s essentially a decent movie collection in one box.) However, for more reasonable budgets, I’d recommend St. Elmo’s Fire. Note that Inception is also on my must-see list, and I have something of a morbid curiosity regarding Trek Stars Go West.”

    • Maybe not. I’ve never seen the original, but I know the stars for their comedic roles, and the relaunches I’ve seen have all been comedies, so I made an assumption.

      • According to IMDB they list this version as “Crime Drama.” I think the remakes were comedies, but the original was pretty serious (though now a bit cliched).
