the network had been hyping this one as “firestarters” all week…
granted, still not an original title, but….?

The WB’s promotional department seems to decide on names that have no relation to the actual name of the episode. The kept billing “Tempest” as “No Warning” in the Smallville ads, for example. There were many confused people on the alt.tv.smallville newsgroup that day, especially since every Smallville episode title is only one word.
