  1. Rachel who?
Something about the Rachel character struck me as familiar, so I checked epguides.com to find out who she was.

The actress who played her was Gabrielle Anwar & I clicked on her link to see what other work she had done. Well under the list of “Co Starring Roles” (as opposed to “Guest Starring Roles” for some reason) she was listed as Rachel Perry in the “Idaho” episode of John Doe, while still being listed as Rachel Penbroke in the “Manifest Destiny” episode under GS Roles.

Does anybody remember (or have the “Idaho” episode taped) if she was in the “Idaho” episode as a different Rachel?

I’m just curious as to whether or not “Rachel” might actually be someone from John Doe’s past. Maybe even his wife! After all she never said actually she was divorced when JD noticed her playing with her missing “wedding ring” on her finger. Maybe maybe she was separated from JD (or “Tommy” as we’re told) by the bad guys & now she’s trying to keep an eye on him. Maybe that’s why she switched seats on the plane.

I dunno, or maybe epguides just made a mistake. lol

Maybe she changed back to her maiden name during the divorce proceedings.
The IMDB has no listings for her on John Doe yet, although her picture confirms that it’s the right person.

It’s also possible that Fox is being cheap and just reusing the same actor in different roles. I for one didn’t recognize her at all.

  2. I have an insight into the diplicate actors
If I don’t miss my guess, the gentleman who was the engineer was none other than Mike McShane…I could be wrong…it was only a few seconds from then end that I thought this…but if I’m right, then they’re using actors over. He played the blind gentleman selling organs over the ‘net in John Deux.

I’m pretty sure that wasn’t Mike McShane. We got a better look at him earlier.
