Weekly Comics Discussion
Another week, another list of new
comics to tempt us. This week I succumb to
Daredevil #65 (Anniversary Edition),
Doctor Spectrum #2, and the Marvel 65th
Anniversary Edition. I will manage to resist
the new 2099 set of one-shots, the Daredevil/Elektra
edition of the Official Handbook to the Marvel
Universe 2004, the first issue of a new Adam
Strange miniseries, the first issue of a new
Catwoman miniseries, a new Superman: Man
of Tomorrow Archive edition, and probably resist
Green Lantern #181, which (if I’ve been
counting correctly) is the final issue of Kyle’s
Green Lantern career and the final issue of the
current Green Lantern series.
Spaceballs 2: The search for more money
Mr.
Vapor writes, Good News Everyone!
I just watched Spaceballs last Friday and now Sci-
Fi Wire is reporting that ain’t it cool news
is reporting
that PlayBill Magazine is reporting (whew!) that Mel
Brooks is writing
SpaceBalls 2!
One can only hope. Maybe the original should
get moved to a higher priority on the review list.
Tim Choate Killed In Accident
diablo-d3 writes, Actor Tim Choate, 49, known in the science fiction
community for playing Zathras, the strange,
third-person-speaking keeper of the Great Machine on
the popular series Babylon 5, was killed in an
accident when he was hit by a car while riding his
motorcycle on his way to his rehearsal in a play.
