This is getting its North American release this
weekend, after already making the rounds in the UK.
How does this hold up compared to other zombie
flicks?

Movie Discussion – “The Forgotten”
This looks like a decent little thriller. Releasing
it in late September instead of October shows that
the studio has enough faith in it to expect it to do
well without the easy Halloween cross promotion, too.
Smallville Review – “Crusade”
I’m watching a grand total of one series this season.
If it stays this good, one will be enough.

Movie Review – “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back”
Two down, one to go. That one will likely wait until
some time tomorrow, as I work late tonight.

CoMers
Anonymous Coward writes, Science fiction that didn’t forget the science…
www.comerstheseries.com This has been in the sub queue for about a week now. I had planned to watch the episodes before I posted it, but I didn’t have time. (I’m guessing it’s the same for the other authors, since it was there for about a week.) At any rate, I’m sure at least one of our viewers will have time to take a look at this blatant ad and let us know if it’s worth the precious time of the rest of us.
“Smallville” and “Lost” premier tonight
I’ll be reviewing “Smallville,” but probably not
until Thursday morning. (Tonight will be spent
watching and reviewing The Empire Strikes
Back instead.)

all off.

Movie Review – “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope”
Yes, there are spoilers in this review. If you
haven’t seen this movie, I don’t know why you’re even
reading this site.

Emmy Awards Given
If you check out the
official Emmy website, you’ll find a Word
document that lists the winners at this year’s Emmy
awards. Enterprise went home with two
technical awards, while Angels In America
cleaned house as the big winner, with four technical
awards and seven awards in the main ceremony. Next
year’s ceremony is certain to look much different;
four of the biggest winners won’t be on the air next
year. (Sex and the City, Frasier,
and The Sopranos have all wrapped their
final seasons, while Angels in America was a
miniseries, now out on DVD, that was never intended
to run more than a few weeks.) The West
Wing is already down to being a single award
winner. So, what do we see on the horizon that might
make an impact? What do you predict for the next big
winner?
