The viewer’s choice programming continues this week
and next. After that, on April 14, it’s back to new
episodes of Smallville and Angel.

Comic Review – “Daredevil: Lowlife”
The next comic review is now posted. Expect nightly reviews for the next week or so, including two Green Lantern TPBs (“Baptism of Fire” and “New Journey, Old Path”), another Daredevil TPB (“Frank Miller Visionaries Vol. 3”), the complete JLA/Avengers series, and the fourth volume of Bendis’ Alias.

Comic Review – “Essential Avengers Vol. 3”
I spent the weekend in Jasper with people who wake up
later than I do, so I got through some of my
backlogged reading. Expect a comic review each day
for at least a week. (The graphic novels getting
reviewed are listed at the bottom of this review.)

Smallville Discussion – “Perry,” fan choice (both reruns)
If you missed Mike McKean as Perry White the first
time around, this is your chance to catch up before
he comes around again.
Weekly Comics Discussion
Once again, the full shipping list is here.
In addition to the Ultimate Fantastic Four
#4 and Ultimate Spider-Man #55 titles
coming out, it might be worth checking out the latest
edition of Previews with the June orders.
Marvel and DC are hauling out some of their big guns
for that month, so it might be worth looking into.
First issues of DC’s Kinetic and Marvel’s
Cable/Deadpool also ship today, both with
good advance word.
WizardWorld Complete Coverage
Newsarama has some
very complete WizardWorld coverage, including columns
on DC’s
Panel, the Top
Cow Panel, the Bendis
panel we’ve already reported on, and the Marvel
panel headed by Joe Quesada.
Save ‘Angel’ campaign takes flight
dkichline
writes, An article on CNN has
this story. “Angel” acolytes are nothing if not
devoted, determined and organized.
Fans of Joss Whedon’s soon-to-be-canceled WB Network
drama series sprung into action last month once it
became official that the spawn of “Buffy the Vampire
Slayer” would get the big spike in May.
The site appears to be down right now, but here is
the
Save Angel Web Site If the
main character can come back from the dead, why not
the entire show?
Charmed Discussion – “Charmed in Camelot”
This episode was originally discussed here.
Bendis’ Avengers – With Money Back Guarantee
Brian Michael Bendis was one of many creators at
WizardWorld LA this weekend. The results of his
panel can be found at
Newsarama. Highlights include the money back
guarantee on his Avengers (at the end of the column,)
the motivation for Ultimate Ben Reilly, plans for The
Pulse and Daredevil, and news about a Jinx movie.
This one panel covers a lot of the comics we discuss
here, so it gets its own news item. When the
convention is over, I’ll make a second WizardWorld LA
column with everything else.
