The crew of the Enterprise gets close, really close.
Cinescape has a piece from Rick Berman on the future of Star Trek on the big screen. Sort of reconfirms what we heard a few weeks back from Ira Behr.
Basically if they are going to feature other characters, it will be an mix of casts and ships/locations. Not really the thing I want to hear, each cast has their own feel, and relationship with each other. This really isn’t a mix-and-match sort of thing.
Somebody got detention. Find out how and why!
According to TV Zone’s interview (Courtesy of The Greak Link) with leading DS9 writer Ira Behr, is that a movie version of the darkest Trek series to date will probably never come to pass. He says he’d be thrilled to do it, if Paramount ever asks.
I do like the fact that he puts the exact word on top of what made DS9 so different. It’s “uncomfortable.” It took the Trek we’ve been breastfed for years and sours the milk. Some fans spit it out and walked away, while others were fascinated by the new flavor.
Fans will just have to wait and see if “What You Leave Behind” will truly be left behind as the final word on Deep Space Nine.
The key art for Star Trek: Nemesis has been released (see below). Pretty cool if you ask me. Offical Press Release

The issues will also include the 35 greatest moments in Star Trek over the years. I too will be posting my own ideas for great moments in Trek so stay tuned.
Before anyone else says it, yes it is premature. Star Trek’s actual anniversary date September 8th, 1966.
