Activision Sues Viacom for Screwing Up Star Trek
Apparently it’s not just us
Scifigod writes, Activision is now suing Viacom for breach of contract for “Lack of Support for ‘Star Trek’ Movie and Television Franchise and Failure to Cooperate With Activision”. Activision currently has several licensing deals for Video game production based on Star Trek and it’s companions.

Star Wars: Galaxies Ships Today
The MMORPG from Sony and LucasArts is finally available. It’s getting decent press and the design team has some respected work in their resume. Some little game they call EverQuest or somesuch. Read more about the game from the Official Site.

The hardcover book (which is one of the hottest preorders in history) comes out June 21st.
V: The Second Generation
Mr. Vapor writes, Well, actually its V: The Second Generation, but the 1983 miniseries from NBC is coming back. I used to love this miniseries when I was younger, but I have yet sit through the DVD I recently purchased.
Sounds like fun to me!
Halloween Treat: Alien Coming Back to Theaters
FilmJerk.com has the details here, but the high points are that the 1979 film will be restored and will include deleted scenes.
I was four when the original debuted (and most of you probably weren’t even born), so this will be a real treat.
