Tuesday night is TV night

Tomorrow night, watch TV, and then come back here for Timeshredder’s review of the series finale of Buffy and my own review of the season finale of Smallville. (I’ve already seen Buffy, but I’ll save my comments for the review.)

American Gothic on UK TV

In my not so humble opinion, American Gothic was the greatest show that’s ever been on TV. (If I reviewed that one episode at a time, the Firefly episode called Objects in Space wouldn’t be the only review to score 42 out of 42.) Well, UK TV fans can rejoice; I’ve just learned that SkyOne will start running the series (in reruns) as of 10pm on Thursday May 22.

Fox, UPN fall schedules

Media Week has the fall schedules for UPN and Fox. UPN hasn’t moved Enterprise to match the move in Smallville, so they will be in direct competition. On the genre front, Fox offers True Calling with Eliza Dushku on Thursdays, while UPN offers Jake 2.0 in the hour after Enterprise.

Twilight Zone Gets the Axe

After only one season, the latest incarnation for Twilight Zone has been sunk. Guess that stellar lead-in from Enterprise just wasn’t enough. It’s likely replacement? Jake 2.0, a show centering around an NSA agent implanted with microchips.

Anyone else as desperate as I am for some hard Science Fiction?
