So tonight’s episode, “The Ghost of Harrenhall” marks the midpoint of Season two. Thus far we’ve heard great things about the adaptation of “A Clash of Kings,” but what really matters, is your opinion!

HBO has renewed the fantasy series for a third season, making many a fan very happy. Season 2 of the show just got underway last month.
No word on what the season will cover, since Book 3, A Storm of Swords, is pretty long and involved. Perhaps split it into two seasons?
What say you about Season 2 thus far?
Let’s try and stay spoiler-free for those that will grab it on DVD later on.
Sorry gang, I am PROFOUNDLY behind in my reviews on this show and just recently caught up on the last three episodes in one day.
I wanted to through out a discussion article to see what everyone thinks of the series now that we’re five episodes in and have five more to go before the end of Season One (not to fear kids, HBO has already signed on for another season).
Yes, we’ve been teased and disappointed a lot over the last few years. But with “Game of Thrones” coming to HBO this month, apparently the proverbial fire has been lit under George Martin’s hind quarters.
Bantam Books has set July 12, 2011 as the release date for the sixth book in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series. Martin maintains that the delay is due to him needing to fully map out the last two books in the series. Note, that “Dragons” is not yet finished, but will be in time for publication.
It’s been a long wait for fans, hopefully it pays off.

I may have, at one time or another, gushed about this series. As the premiere of the HBO series draws nearer, they are releasing more and more previews. This latest, long preview, shows just how awesome these books are and the quality that’s going into the series.
Here’s the latest and greatest…now with kung-fu embed action!
Well, HBO may have finally found something to make me pay even more for cable, they’re producing a TV series based on the Hugo Award-winning series from George R. R. Martin. I’ve reviewed the first three books on B42, guess I should get my tail in gear and review Book 4, A Feast for Crows.
Here is the latest of the published books in the series. The next one won’t be out until April of 2003.
I’ve finished book two of George R. R. Martin’s enchanting Song of Ice and Fire series.
