Sci-Fi Wire says the Christopher Eccleston run of Doctor Who will be on the Sci-Fi Channel in the States, starting in March. It’ll be taking over the time slot presently occupied by “Stargate Atlantis,” about which I am wholly unconcerned.

GMT-1825
Isn’t March when the next run of Doctor Who starts? What is this, a one year time
delay?
Re: GMT-1825
It took ’em long enough, didn’t it? :)

Finally, something on the Sci-Fi channel that isn’t $H!+. And I can get my friends to watch it, without losing another set of CD-Rs. *ahem*
Re: w00t
CD-Rs? Sheesh, I had to transcode everything onto viewable dual-layer DVD-Rs for my non-computer-literate friends. If I coulda just dumped everything onto a half-dozen CDs, I would’ve been rejoicing.
Not that I’d ever endorse this sort of thing…
Re: w00t
Many DVD players recognize VCDs, which can hold around an hour of video and are based on CD-R media. CD-Rs are a whole lot cheaper than DL-DVD’s.

I view this with mixed emotion.
On one hand, Woo Hoo!! I finally can see the new Dr. Who.
On the other hand, God dammit, the DVD Set was pushed from March until July here in the states because of it!
PSSST!
Go on eBay and purchase the Canadian set when it’s released. Canada is the same DVD region as the U.S. ;)

Re: PSSST!

Re: PSSST!
