Titles this week are relatively few, but there are some notables.
First, the DVD picks:
- Battle of the Warriors: Dragon Dynasty release of the modern wuxia film.
- Bedknobs and Broomsticks
- Bleach Movie 2 – The DiamondDust Rebellion: Alex: This is, well, the second Bleach Movie. Being that it was made and released while the serise is still running, its a side story.
- Crank 2: High Voltage: Single Disc Edition
- Crank 2: High Voltage: Two Disc Special Edition
- Criminal Minds – Season Four
- Daphne in the Brilliant Blue – Collection 2: Alex: A sort of Cowboy Bebop-style (though not necessarily as good) “troubleshooters” show,w ith a combined “girls-with-guns” theme. Originally licenced by Geneon, and rescued by ADV. This may be one of ADV as we know it’s last releases.
- Friday
- Fringe – Season One
- Homicide – Criterion Collection
- The Human Condition – Criterion Collection
- Important Things with Demetri Martin: Season One
- Inspector Gadget: The Go Go Gadget Collection: Blaine: Fox picked up the distribution rights from Shout! Factory for this series. This is a different set of episodes than Shout! released.

- Mr. Belvedere – Season Three
- MTV’s Nitro Circus: Season One
- Nana Uncut – Volume 1: Alex: This is a shojo anime, based on the manga by Ai Yazawa, about two girls named Nana who are living togeather in Tokyo.
- The Office – Season Five
- One Foot in the Grave: 1996 and 1997 Christmas Specials
- One Foot In The Grave: Complete Series
- Over the Top
- Parks and Recreation: Season One
- Red Garden – The Complete Series Box Set & OVAs: Alex: A group of teenagers are forced to go out at night and fight monsters in New York. If they choose not to take part, they die. From Studio Gonzo.
- Schism: Single Disc Edition
- Schism: Two Disc Special Edition
- That Hamilton Woman – Criterion Collection
- Universal Horror: Classic Movie Archive: Includes “The Black Cat,” “Man Made Monster,” “Horror Island,” “Night Monster” and “Captive Wild Woman.”
- Valentino: The Last Emperor
- Worst Week: Complete Series
- Zorro: Generation Z, Vol. 3
Now, the Blu-Ray picks:
- Catwoman: Blaine: Man, this was not an enjoyable movie. If you find yourself subjected to it, the Blu-Ray is probably a better bet than the DVD release, simply because it gives the best possible impression if you skip ahead to the parts with Halle Berry in skintight leather and leave the soundtrack on mute.
- Crank 2: High Voltage
- Creepshow
- Dance Flick
- Dead Calm
- Exit Speed
- Freddy vs. Jason
- Friday
- The Fringe: Season One
- Heroes of World Class Wrestling: Re-Release of the documentary about World Class Championship Wrestling and the Von Erich family.
- Menace II Society
- The New World: The Extended Cut
- The Office: Season Five
- Over the Top
- The Postman
- The Quick and the Dead
- Requiem for a Dream
- Set It Off
- Silverado
- Sphere
- Valentino: The Last Emperor
Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “Well, I haven’t seen anything that’s coming out this week, so I can’t make any picks. However, I will be watching The Diamond Dust Rebellion.” Blaine says, “Requiem for a Dream has been released before, but it’s an amazing movie. If you don’t already have a copy, get one.”

That should probably just be Fringe and not The Fringe.
Right! Fixed. I had The Fringe on the brain this month.
