The Saturn Awards, dedicated to genre entertainment, have announced their nominations. The feature film nominations are here. The television nominations are here, and they are strangely lacking anything from Firefly. (Perhaps they are for the 2001/2002 season.) The DVD nominations are here. The special awards recipients are here. The face of the future nominations are here.
Please?
Can The Firewalled Employees Get A Repost Or A Run Down Of Who was Nominated?

Leading the pack in the television category are BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and SMALLVILLE with a total of five nominations each, followed closely behind by ANGEL, ENTERPRISE and TAKEN with four nominations.

Re: Please?
Nope. After all, Taken (which showed in Dec 2002) was nominated. But yes, worthless – Mutant X got nominations?!?!?! Heck, I can’t believe Alias got nominated. I love the show, but the Rimbaldi stuff doesn’t turn the show into a sci-fi show at all.
Firefly not completely overlooked…
I am sorry to see that Enterprise has been rewarded with plenty of nominations for a dissapointing and lackluster series so far, while the excellent Firefly has been overlooked.
Some have said that perhaps Firefly didn’t qualify because of timing. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case since Firely got a single nomination:
MALE FACE OF THE FUTURE
Nathan Fillion (FIREFLY)
Re: Firefly not completely overlooked…
The female face of the future has the female Terminator from T3, so that doesn’t seem to be particularly tied to a single year.
Re: Firefly not completely overlooked…
Notice how both of the “faces” are better known for their ever so tight leather pants?
Re: Firefly not completely overlooked…
Yeah, But:
“Fe/Male Ass Of The Future” Doesn’t have The Same Ring…
