I love the show, but I don’t think it falls into the catagories we discuss here. It’s neither science fiction nor fantasy.
If there’s a discussion about 24 might as well add one for West Wing.

Actually, I have been unable to get into 24 precisely because it IS a fantasy. I watched the first season until we got to the amnesia plot-helper. After that, forget it, just too silly. I didn’t even try for Season 2. For this unbelievable fluff they canceled Firefly? (My standard dis against Fox forevermore).
