Our Halloween podcasts continue, with Blaine myself giving our opinions on ‘Busting, whether or not we’re afraid of any ghosts.

Halloween: Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Hilarious House of Frightenstein (1970s)
Great history, guys!
In terms of the theme song, it wasn’t just the opening riff that was at issue. The theme and the earlier-released Huey Lewis song are virtually identical. Someone has, predictably, mashed them together:
At the time (I was university-age, then), everyone knew Parker had ripped off Lewis. The two settled out of court– and then Ray Parker, Jr. re-sued Lewis after Lewis breached the confidentiality terms of the settlement, years later.
Another musical note: among the unexpected cameos, 80s teen pop icon Debbie Gibson appears in the Tavern on the Green.
The quick, tiny comment on He-Man’s movie makes me want to hear one of these podcast with that as its subject.
Another thought: I don’t have nearly enough time to play a full video game anymore, but I wanted to see “Ghostbusters 3”, as presented through the game. Anyone have a good suggestion for how to do that? Is there a YouTube play-through that would let me get the story, or a book/comic adaptation or anything?
Not that I’m aware of, but the movie script basis does mean it’s short. I played the PS3 game start to finish in about six hours.
