Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “The Stargate re-release has my interest, though I’ll probably be picking up Planet of the Vampires in the future for the Podcast.” Blaine says, “WKRP in Cincinnati is my hands down pick.”

  1. Definitely eyeing the Stargate Blu-Ray especially for the price it is, plus I’ve not seen the alternate cut before.

  2. Does WKRP have the original music in it yet? Because it’s 100% NOT worth getting if it doesn’t. I believe it took so long to get it on DVD in the first place because they couldn’t get the music rights, and if that’s still the case I’d not spend any money on it.

    • From what I understand, they’ve restored about 70% of the music. The first season was released previously and didn’t sell well, and music replacement was a major reason cited by viewers. Now the new studio went back to renegotiate.
