This is a very light week for number of home video releases, likely because it’s typically a high volume week for blockbuster theatrical releases.

Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “Dr. Strangelove, without hesitation. Stanley Kubrick and Criterion Collection together make a no-brainer.” Alex says, “Anime fans should check out Yurikuma Arashi.”
Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place (Later, Two Guys and a Girl) was somewhat underappreciated. My wife and I both enjoyed it, and this is the first time it’s managed to get a release. We preordered it directly from Shout Factory so we’ve had it for a month already and have finished re-watching it. The release itself it good, video is clear, no quirks/glitches/etc. If you liked the series, it’s worth picking up.
Not to mention the beginnings of Ryan Reynolds and Nathon Fillion’s careers.
The Thrills and Chills collection is an odd mix. I vaguely recall The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from The Banana Splits, where it was rerun. Very strange take on these characters. That was from an era where the creators of children’s programming appeared to all be on hallucinogenics.
