  1. Lucifer was a lot of fun, but I am not sure which book series they were trying to lampoon. Was Class of 3001 supposed to be making fun of Sweet Valley High? I never read those, so I wasn’t sure what they were aiming.

Legends seems to have wanted Captain Jack Sparrow, but decided to name him Blackbeard. And the pirates all have the pirate accent, one that Lore Sjoberg described as if they all grew up speaking Buchaneese and came to English later in life.
(Unrelated, if anyone knows where one could find Lore’s classic comedy online, I’d love to reread the Ratings.)

The Flash’s country music singer, Izzy, was not a convincing as fiddler, but I think that’s editing and production. Also, I am not a country music fan, so I wasn’t sure if her song was an ear-bleedingly bad amateur country music song, or if she was a regular country music song, or if her song was supposed to be an example of her power.

  2. I enjoyed this week’s Flash overall. my only problem with it is that as best as I can tell, their Fidler is just the Pied Pipper 2.0 both have sonic attacks. I get that they want to drop each and every Flash characters in the series so they can say they were there, but I would like them to avoid giving villains the same powers
