Comments | Alex: A rather heartwarming romantic dramady series that is somewhat marred by the fact that the director of the anime (not the rest of the staff or the creator of the original manga) is a literal, Holocaust denying, Nazi. This was apparently the director’s first series as a director – and now after the series success he became more open about being a Nazi, it’s probably going to be the only series he will be directing as his second series was canceled partway through production.
Seinfeld | |||||||||
Amazon | |||||||||
Separated: Children at the Border
Amazon | |||||||||
Skyscraper | |||||||||
Amazon | |||||||||
Comments | Blaine: I haven’t seen this, so I can’t really judge it, but I do recall that seeing the trailer didn’t make me want to watch this, but it did make me want to watch Die Hard again.

Stars of Space Jam | |||||||||

Comments | Blaine: Starring Paget Brewster, who was amazing in The Thrilling Adventure Hour.

Comments | This series got a partial release in English back in the late ’80s, and is finally getting a full release now. |
Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “nothing completely new jumps out at me, but the Seinfeld and Looney Tunes collections are of interest if you don’t already own the content.” Alex says, “If they made 4K TVs in a size that would fit my living space (32-36″), I’d consider the Evil Dead 4K release. Otherwise, while I have Zillion and Constantine on my watchlist, none of those I completely feel comfortable recommending.”
I enjoyed Constantine, but the live action stuff was better.
I saw Skyscraper.
