Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “I’ve been waiting for a legal US release of Ideon since I originally heard about the show in the ’90s, and I’m glad it’s not only out in the US, but also available in its entirety on Blu-Ray.” Blaine says, “I’m going with the new packaging of Batman: The Animated Series.”
Lots of releases, but nothing interesting.
This week brings a few genre offerings.
Outside of genre, if you haven’t seen The Sopranos, it’s a landmark series. On the other extreme of TV, the first couple seasons of The Waltons make good, old-school family viewing. The later seasons are barely watchable, IMO, but Jonathan Frakes does make a few pre-ST:TNG appearances in them
