Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2019 July 21

The heat of summer hasn’t slowed the few programs down at all.  Legion reminds us how strong he is as he goes to war.  Supergrandad continues his war against Zod as the God/Zod puns continue.  Sherlock Holmes faces, or possibly works with, a god.  The Swamp Thing is anatomically correct.  The SHIELD Agents revisit their past.

  1. Last week’s Shield gave us some answers and raised a bunch more questions. On the upside, the answers we got make some sense. I had actually forgotten about the macguffin they used as the basis for those answers.

I’m still expecting some bigger time shenanigan beyond the one revealed last week. I mean, they’ve got something with power similar to the infinity stones (though probably not on the same scale) noodling around. That could cause anything.

    • I had called what was going on with May as soon as it happened last week. I was wrong about Coulson/Sarge, but I like their approach as a “We get him back!” kinda way, but at the same time, we’re going to end up with the entire cast as an earlier version of themselves at this rate.
