Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 17 November 2019

While we continue to get Discordant Content from Batwoman, Watchmen, Supergirl, Black Lightning, Flash, Arrow, and Titans from various sources, Disney+ launched, and their opening salvo fires both barrels of The Mandalorian, giving us two episodes a week, as well as non-fiction offerings like Marvel’s Hero Project.  If you like your heroes a bit less super, The Good Doctor is around to help, and if you like the other side of the spectrum, The Blacklist’s investigates money issues, and we get The Word in Castle Rock.  If you wanted comics but not heroes, you’re out of luck, but Riverdale did once hear about something from some similarly named comics.

      • Do you mean IG-88, the other one in this episode was IG-11. If it was a different one, I missed what you are referencing.

As for the last character, the species is very recognizable, but this show, from what I understand, is set after the Empire fell, before the rise of the First Order, so it can’t be the really recognizable character we know who looks like that.

  1. I am very glad that Watchmen seems to be drawing its threads together, they don’t feel so disjointed anymore. Also, Looking Glass might have been my favorite character after this episode.
