Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “If you watched the anime series Boogiepop and Others on streaming earlier this year, and that caught your interest, then Boogiepop Phantom is a good continuation of the story – though I don’t know how well it stands alone for people who are unfamiliar with the character.” Blaine says, “of those I have seen, Look Who’s Talking is the best, but not particularly great.”
I am not sure if I want to watch Joker or Last Blood. I kinda feel like I need to in order to stay culturally relevant, but neither has much draw for me.
I feel that way about The Joker, but less so about Last Blood.
I feel that way about Joker and saw it, and Downton Abbey and didn’t, and I even have a passing cultural curiosity regarding The Return of Rin Tin Tin. But Last Blood? Not so much.
