Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “If you haven’t picked up Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions, this week’s release is probably the ideal release for the show.” Blaine says, “nothing really jumps out at me this week, although I do wonder if the new Charlie’s Angels is really as bad as its reputation says, and I may check it out just to find out. I’ll probably wait until I can stream it on a service I already pay for, though.”

  1. I was curious about Spies in Disguise because the trailer and names caught my attention, but I am also behind in my Movies, as we haven’t watched Terminator: Dark Fate or anything after that yet.

  2. The boy and I caught 1917 back in February (yea Alamo Drafthouse and free birthday tickets!). It was very good and intense. The single shot “gimmick” worked really well for the material and helped with the intensity. I don’t know how it’ll translate onto smaller home screens.
