Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “There is some good stuff this week, but to be honest, the conclusion of Sylvester McCoy’s Doctor Who run has some amazing stories that I think make this one a must buy.” Blaine says, “I agree with Alex’s pick of Doctor Who: Sylvaester McCoy Season Three. McCoy and Colin Baker are underrated Doctors, in my opinion. It took Big Finish Audio Dramas to show fans what that pair can really do given a stronger script than they were usually given in their times in the role.”

  1. Also showing up digitally this week were Rise of Skywalker, Onward, and Birds Of Prey.

I put Skywalker on today, and realized I really wasn’t into those movies nearly as much as their budgets would suggest. I ended up walking away during the climax. I will catch the other two sometime later this week, I am sure.

    • Birds of Prey wasn’t bad. When I stop and put it on the scale of other DCEU movies, it’s pretty high up there, actually, but that’s because I am not very into DC or their movies. For some reason, it took me three or four scenes before I recognized Ewan McGregor, and I’ve loved his stuff ever since I heard him sing.
