Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 May 3

After some Disappoint Character1 omissions, Supergirl returns to aid Batwoman in entertaining all of us quarantined views.  Westworld gives us the finale of their season three robot uprising.  Zoey, after spending last week with her mom, spends this week with her dad.  Riverdale fantasizes about actually ending their time in High School.  Blindspot returns with the season five opener and Blacklist possibly ends its season, depending on how the quarantine allows the studio to wrap things up, as this was their last episode before they had to close up.  Here’s hoping your stockpiles last longer than the studio’s do!!

1 This week, your humble author was surprised to make his debut on Supergirl, an entire episode devoted to the god of the machines, `Lex!  …Wait, there’s no tick, I guess they mean Luthor, nevermind.  😞

  1. I enjoyed Supergirl, even if it was CGI heavy and largely Supergirl free. I suspect that was because she was busy directing. (I checked, because once I saw Jason Mewes cameo, I assumed Kevin Smith was directing again.)

  2. Batwoman started with a great fight scene, but anyone at my Silat school could take her, she’s too slow with her strikes. I’ve been thinking this sort of thing since Arrow.

      • Is it too much for me to see superheroes on the TV screen that I don’t think I could take in a fight?

I mean, I don’t really consider myself some sort of chest-pounding, `roid-ragey badass, but it’s rare that I watch a show and don’t think “Those are some pretty hits, but if a guy takes it and just follows up this would be over pretty quick.”
