Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “If you have a 4K player, and don’t feel like getting Tenet, Tremors is a very solid choice. On the anime side of things, I’d recommend the re-release of Paranoia Agent.” Blaine says, “by reputation, I’m willing to recommend Tenet. Of those I’ve personally seen, nothing stands out.”

  1. Tenet was good, if confusing, but I think it is meant to be confusing and re-watched a few times.

    • Brian says:

Sounds like Nolan going back to his Memento roots. Speaking of which, I need to watch that again. It’s been a long time.

  2. JD DeLuzio says:

Reviewed here, and I think the big screen added something. Or maybe just the fact that I could even see it on a big screen, a drive-in. Not much else here: Curse of Frankenstein is serviceable Hammer, with good leads. Roadkill, sadly, is not the low-budget Canadian cult comedy of the same name, so I cannot speak to it. This Roadkill sounds interesting, however.

Tex Avery’s toons are always worth a look.
