Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “The 4K anime films we’ve gotten so far have consistantly been the ones which gain the most from a 4K release, and Castle of Cagliostro definitely benefits and merits this new release. If you don’t have a way to play 4K Blu-rays, my anime pick is season 1 of No Guns Life – it’s a really enjoyable cyberpunk anime with good writing. And if Anime is a strict no-go, there’s The Court Jester.” Blaine says, “that’s a great price on Taxi if you’re interested, and if your player can handle MOD titles, After the Thin Man is an enjoyable comedic mystery.”

  1. I always love that Sabrina show. Lots of fun, lots of dad jokes, and it was very popular with my daughters.

  2. JD DeLuzio says:

If you haven’t seen it and you like child-unfriendly superhero series, watch Doom Patrol.

I remember Taxi from the 80s. I recall liking the early episodes, and then dropping it pretty quickly as it went along. YMMV. It’s also an early example of a series that was cancelled by one network and continued (briefly) on another.
