As we March quickly through this year, Don’t Cool down just yet!  Pennyworth returns to the screen, trying to make it to America, Black Lightning goes on a secret mission to ruin, Flash starts thinking, and Superman starts telling some of his kids about his past.  The American Gods fail their omniscience again with all the characters finding surprises this week.  The Good Doctor goes crazy treating a cancerous comatose case.  Riverdale gets a fire department.  In The Blacklist, Red investigates torturers.

American Gods – S03E07 – The Rapture of Burning – Laura and Salim’s quest forces them outside of their comfort zones as they learn to let go of their pasts. Shadow is surprised by a new side of Wednesday, while Technical Boy attempts to escape the prison of his own mind.

Pennyworth – S2E05 – The Bleeding Heart – While Alfred and Daveboy run one last job for Gully in order to buy tickets to America, tensions ratchet up at Raven Union HQ between Harwood and his lieutenants.

DuckTales – S03E21 – The Life And Crimes of Scrooge McDuck! – Scrooge’s enemies reveal a secret history to prove that he is responsible for turning them evil, forcing Louie to defend his uncle against their prosecutor, Doofus Drake.

Black Lightning – S04E05 – The Book of Ruin: Chapter One – Gambi supports Black Lightning as he departs on a special mission. Meanwhile, Grace tries to persuade Anissa to let her guard down.

The Good Doctor – S4E11 – We’re All Crazy Sometimes – After bringing in an incredibly unique and complicated spinal surgery, Dr. Aaron Glassman challenges the residents for an opportunity to join him in the operating room. Meanwhile, Shaun and Morgan disagree on how to treat a comatose patient with a cancerous tumor.

The Flash – S07E02 – The Speed of Thought – When Barry suddenly gains the power of speed thinking, he attempts to use his new gift to save Iris. While Barry is thrilled with his new power, Cisco is hesitant to trust it. Meanwhile, Eva must face a shattering truth.

Superman & Lois – S01E03 – The Perks of Not Being a Wallflower – Clark shares some of his Kryptonian history with Jordan and Jonathan during a family breakfast. Meanwhile, Lois and Chrissy dig deeper to uncover the truth about Morgan Edge.

Riverdale – S05E07 – Chapter Eighty-Three: Fire in the Sky – Following in his Grandpa Artie’s footsteps, Archie begins to recruit Riverdale’s new volunteer fire department. Toni’s attempt to lure Cheryl out of Thornhill and back into daily life in Riverdale leads to more tension between the two. Elsewhere, Betty, Alice and Kevin’s latest investigation leads them into conflict with Hiram. Finally, as Veronica comes up with a risky plan to support Riverdale’s local businesses, Jughead and Tabitha begin to unravel an old mystery surrounding some strange sightings in the town.

The Blacklist – S08E10 – Dr. Laken Perillos – Red and Dembe land in peril when Townsend deploys a torture specialist who uses unorthodox methods to interrogate her victims.

  1. So, watched The Flash…

    Did they accidentally use a technobabble generator instead of a script writer?

    The climactic battle seemed to make no sense at all.

  2. I’ll probably catch up with Superman & Lois reviews next week. The bridge sequence this week was fun, and it appears that Intergang is in town. Can Darkseid be far behind?

    I don’t want to apply to much rationality to the series, but we found ourselves wondering why a guy who wants to protect his identity and who has to regularly disappear would volunteer to help out with the football team, even with two sons playing. I will say, however, that Hoechlin not only knows how to play Superman, he can do a good public Clark Kent.
