Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “My UHD pick of the week is Clue (1985). Otherwise, you legitimately can’t go wrong with any of the three Shaw Brothers collections, or the Kinji Fukasaku collection.” Blaine says, “I’m going with The Mandalorian.”

  1. If you haven’t seen it, don’t miss “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story”

I think what sums up its absurdity best is the fact that Daniel Radcliff got ridiculously ripped for this role…

    …to play Weird Al Yankovic.

    • Along with everything that has been mentioned, horror fans might enjoy The Ring Collection, the original Corman Little Shop of Horrors and The Terror are interesting pieces of film history (I still find Little Shop, in all its no-budget glory, hilarious), and American Experience’s The War on Disco is yet another fascinating documentary probing the depths of a seemingly minor topic.

  2. You cannot ever go wrong with Clue. The acting, the writing, everything is just chef’s kiss perfection.

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story was brilliantly absurd. The fact that SNL didn’t have Radcliffe host with Al as musical guest is one of my biggest disappointments of the last couple of years.
