Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “My 4K UHD release for the week – and also my anime pick of the week – is Belladonna of Sadness. This film is justifiabily considered an artistic masterpieces for a reason – the film has some tremendous visual flair to present the themes of the story with the limited animation budget the studio faced as it approached bankruptcy. Otherwise I’m going with Revenge of the Ninja (and will be waiting for the physical release of Dune Part 2). Blaine says, “depending on your preferred format, the competitors for my pick of the week are Dune Part Two, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Monk: Season 7, and Batman (1989).”
From what I’ve heard, Civil War is intense and intriguing.
Ah, Star Trek III, the best of the “odd” Trek films. Plus, it has one of Trek’s best scenes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkJ3–2K7yo
