Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “My 4K pick of the week is The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, with the new Ninja Scroll Blu-Ray release being my anime pick (since I don’t think the previous release had that audio commentary). I also recommend Outlaw Star – though I already have the collector’s edition box so I’m not going to be picking up this particular release.” Blaine says, “I second the support for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari out of the titles I’ve seen. I missed Deadpool and Wolverine in theaters and look forward to that, too.”

One reply

  1. I’ve heard nothing but good things about VEEP and it’s been on my watch list for some time now.

I’ve heard nothing but bad things about Borderlands. Like fans of the game were displeased and non-fans were confused.

And Transformers One? I’m rarely turned off by a trailer, but this one annoyed me right out of the gate. I’d love to have a long conversation with the idiots running Hasbro’s entertainment division. They have so many properties, they could just print money. But they churn out absolute garbage. (I will admit, last year’s D&D movie was a blast)
