Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “My HUD release this week is Willow. My anime pick is Time of Eve (though the digital release of Sound Euphonium is a close second), and Blake’s Seven takes it for my HD pick.” Blaine says, “of those I’ve seen, I’d go with the Doctor Who specials, even though I felt Jodie Whitaker’s final episode with all of the companions was a better anniversary special than the David Tennant specials. As for the rest, I’ve been sitting on my copy of Interstellar for far too long, and I really need to get around to watching it.”

  1. Oh thank goodness they made a sequel to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. That cliffhanger and all those loose ends were driving me crazy.

  2. I’m the weirdo that enjoyed the first two Venom movies, based solely on Hardy’s performance. Were they great? No. Were they fun? Definitely.

      • I haven’t watched Last Dance yet, but some YouTube video described the movie as the first super-hero movie that “understood the assignment.” It’s not an epic historical novel, it’s a comic book about Spider-Man’s dirty laundry.
