Finally, the pick of the week. In spite of some great genre material, I’ve got to go with the new edition of The Maltese Falcon. It’s a classic for good reason: check it out.

    I highly recommend this – I saw it at the beginning of the summer, and I went in expecting something quite different from what I actually saw. This is probably the most brilliant satire / character study I’ve ever seen, with a fantastic supporting cast (Rob Lowe is perfect – "When do you sleep?" "…Sunday") and a main character that you should probably hate, but can’t – I think this might be Aaron Eckhart’s finest performance.

  3. Differences between Theatrical & Director’s Cut of "L,S&2SS"
    So, does anybody know what the differences are between the Directors Cut DVD and the original release DVD of "Lock, Stock, and 2 Smocking Barrels"?
