Looks like suicide :| Damn shame. He came off as someone that was cool and collected both onscreen and off.

I remember quoting that Pulp Fiction line constantly with friends.

“I want to travel the Earth like Caine in Kung Fu.”

I met him once in Toronto when he was filming Kung-Fu: The Legend Continues. I’ve read a lot of accounts saying that he was a complete jerk to his fans, but as I recall he was incredibly nice to a starstruck 14 year old Kung-Fu fan on that Chinatown street.

My only regret was that I didn’t have anything for him to autograph – he actually asked me if I wanted one, and I told him I didn’t have anything for him to sign…

    RIP

I didn’t get any impression of him (other than he seemed a bit out of it), but that was at a signing at a weapons store, and the line-up was very long, so he may have been tired.

I got a Kill Bill poster signed, which went to a good friend who is a huge fan– but I have a photo of us somewhere.

Although his death has been reported as a suicide, newer reports suggest another possibility.
