  1. Another nail in the coffin
Where to start? They are pulling things out of history that never happened, and couldn’t according to the established timeline. Even putting all that aside and looking at this episode by itself, it was boringly predictable. I’m going to just imagine Andromeda was cancelled at the end of season 2, not season 3 as it looks to be right now.

  2. Would like to see more…
…of a story line. The last three episodes could have happened in any order. Action is wonderful in my opinion, however I expect more from a series.

To be fair, a “mytharc” is fairly new thing in TV. ST:TNG dabbled at it (mostly with Worf) DS9 in turn doled it out in *droves*. So, perhaps the Andromeda producers don’t want a continuous storyline… of course, they do so at their peril, because that’s what Sci-Fi fans expect.

If by new you mean a decade old, then yes. Babylon 5 is nothing without the story arc.

  3. argh
What is with this great figure of history of the commonwealth that we never heard of? Why kill him? Oh, you mean it makes a convienient boring ass plot arc?

next week looks just as bad.

I wonder why I waste the hour of my life watching this stuff.

I waste less than an hour by Tivoing and skipping the comercials. I am debating however my decision to save until explicitly deleted choice I currently have selected.

Ah, true, I use TiVo too.

  4. Well, Okay
Who was this “mysterious” Leper? Cheese & crackers was that obvious! The minute the beautiful wannabe assasin / sister showed I thought hey, that is the Leper who’s going to give Captain Hunt the entitled kiss. It would have been more entertaining to me if the Leper would have been less obvious or not even shown at all to a die hard experienced purveyor of stories. It would have been a little more innovative.

There was the poor man’s red herring; the captive captain who knew his way around the secure region. It gave me pause for about 1 minute as I considered the possibility of his being the Leper. I would have been more impressed to learn the sister was helping her older brother, in reality “The Captin / Leper”. The fact that Captain Hunt saw through her being the Leper so easily was, to my mind, anticlimactic.

Still, If I did watch it I must admit some level of enjoyment.
