The Expanse Discussion: “Salvage”
A new review will appear in two weeks. Feel free to post comments here– and we realize it may be difficult to avoid spoilers.
The Flash Review: “The Reverse-Flash Returns”
What it says on the box.
Lucifer Review: “Pilot”
After years of waiting, fans of The Sandman finally have something from that series find its way onto television.
It’s Gaiman’s version of Lucifer Morningstar, more or less. He solves crimes on a mismatched detective procedural show.
Supergirl: “Strange Visitor From Another Planet”
This week develops the background of DC’s other alien crimefighter, the Martian Manhunter (and, indeed of DC’s Mars). Here’s a place for discussion.
Legends of Tomorrow: “Pilot, Part One”
Since they’re airing the pilot in two parts, we have a rather tentative review of the latest DCCW series, a sort of Justice Leagues by way of the Forgotten Heroes.
Fans of Doctor Who will recognize where Time Master Rip Hunter got his time-travelling start.
Arrow Discussion: “Blood Debts”
Arrow returns, with Ollie back to his earlier methods. The Team gets some good moments, and we learn that musical instruments are bullet-proof. While the episode begins with the flash-forward that ended that last one, discovering the truth about Felicity’s future would require an Oracle.
Agent Carter Review: “The Lady in the Lake” and “A View in the Dark”
Peggy Carter returns, and relocates to LA for what looks to be a strong second season.
I get the fridged woman, but did there have to be a particle accelerator?
The Flash Review: “Potential Energy”
The Flash returns with a twist on the villain known as the Slowest Man Alive.
The Expanse Discussion: “Windmills”
The next review appears at the end of Season One, but we can discuss the latest ep here.
Of course, we’ve got a line-up of TV reviews coming this week…
