Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 June 5

This week we have a new premier of Marvel’s Ms. Marvel.  Disney has given the character a bit of a glow up, so it seems my hopes of a direct comic translation were a bit of a stretch.  If you prefer the Default Classics, Superman & Lois disagree and that makes them lose.  The Flash leaves the lights off, where he might find The Orville who is also exploring the shadows.  Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn’t give us a description, joining The Boys, Young Justice, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds that way.  Finally, if you have hang out with the bots, Mystery Science Theater 3000 watches Doctor Mordrid.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 May 29

We have a strange new list as the previous seasons shows are disappearing and we’re joined by some new one.  Did you finish Stranger Things?  I didn’t yet.  I did catch Strange New Worlds, just in time for pon farr and a throwback episode.  Riverdale considers a labor union.  Superman and Lois pick up with their big reveal.  Obi-Wan gives us a third episode and The Boys show up with three episodes, but no descriptions.  The Orville returns to New Horizons with an androids dream episode.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 May 22

Riverdale continues to be as unlike the classic Archie comics as possible.  Better Call Saul shows Jimmy and Kim learning what happens with plans.  The Flash features Old Man Barry.  The Enterprise faces a malevolent force in Strange New Worlds, (I would say ‘again’, but this is a prequel.)  Mystery Science Theatre 3000 watches a bad sequel.  The Blacklist ends its season as they attempt to apprehend The Plague.1  If this isn’t the sort of television you are a looking for, you are probably on the wrong site, but there are also some Stranger Things to take in.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 May 15

We slow down a bit this week, but this week gives us the third season of Love Death + Robots.  If kid-unfriendly cartoons aren’t your thing, Riverdale sees Archie trying to build up a tolerance to Iocane powder palladium.  Jim and Kim need a knowledgeable contact, I guess they Better Call Saul.  Shaun, the Good Doctor, and Lea come to some big decisions.  The Flash brings XS back to the show to investigate The Still Force.  Strange New Worlds hits the Enterprise gets hit with a contagion, leaving Number One to face some secrets.  Halo finishes its season.  The Blacklist also starts to end its season, giving us the first half of a two-parter.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 May 8

Happy Mother’s Day, to all mother’s and ‘muthas’ out there.  This week, The bots watch Beyond Atlantis on MST3k.  Riverdale makes the cast rewatch the show. Better Call Saul has business explode for Jimmy.  Lea takes center state on The Good Doctor.  Naomi finishes her season with a two-parter.  The Flash and team throw themselves into their work.  Star Trek: Strange New Worlds bucks tradition and gives us a description, warning us of aliens interfering with the diversion of a comet.  Halo shows who sides with who.  The Blacklist reveals their big bad and takes the villains to new heights.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 May 1

Happy Beltane or May Day to any who celebrate.  This week, the BBTT is full, but a number of season finales should even everything out next week.  The week kicks off with Riverdale plan to use the fog to overthrow the government and install their own.  Better Call Saul gives us a professional show.  Superman and Lois picks up immediately from last episode.  Naomi goes to prom.  Moon Knight gives us a season finale.  The Flash works as a team.  Star Trek ends Picard’s second season, and launches on a mission to find Strange New Worlds.  Halo gets an inheritance.  Outer Range finishes its season going into the unknown, then sails off into the west.  The Blacklist gets into cosplay.  Then we get two episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000, watching Santo in the Treasure of Dracula then Robot Wars.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 April 24

Last week we had plenty of time travel shenanigans, and it looks like this week is going to be no different as Riverdale gets into the ‘dig up the past’ action.  Better Call Saul has Nacho questioning loyalties.  Superman isn’t in the past, but into a Bizarro other world.  Naomi also digs into the past, but doesn’t seem to be actually going there.  The Flash has a new rogue.  The Blacklist’s task force gets high.  Moon Knight, Picard, Halo, Young Justice, and Outer Range all have new episodes, but don’t want to spoil us with descriptions.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 April 17

Plenty of new shows this week!  The Doctor gives us a pirate battle with the Sea Devils.  Russian Doll drops a new season (no word on if it involves anything Ukrainian,) as does Better Call Saul, but only the first two episodes.  Riverdale turns Archie into a folk hero.  The Good Doctor gets mechanical and meta.  The Blacklist finally acknowledges that Red is actually in charge.  We also get new Moon Knight, Young Justice, Picard, and Halo, but no advanced descriptions.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 April 10

I hope you recovered from last week’s table from our site’s favorite Jovial Disciple, but there isn’t much information to give you this week.  Riverdale’s announces plans to get rid of its gangs.  Robot Chicken ends its season in typical Robot Chicken fashion.  The Flash and Chester work on the problem while Caitlin makes things worse.  The Blacklist’s task force is shaken when one of them actually is subject to the laws they enforce.  We also have The Good Doctor going to a potluck, but otherwise Moon Knight, Picard, Young Justice, and Halo give us episodes they want us to go into blind.
