Something quick and a little easier this week. I give you the title, you give me the Fantasy Author. Note: The book mentioned might not be their most famous work.
Good luck!

I started out decent, but I might as well have left halfway through: 13.
Still fun!
Glad you liked the format. I’m doing similar ones later on this year (other genres and other media).
I wonder if there is enough Doctor Demento artists that are commonly known that could fill a Quiz? The entire Dorky section could be Weird Al.
Oh I like it. I like it a lot. That might be next year’s April Fools.
If it’s April Fools, they should all be Weird Al.
If it’s not April Fools, it should be “I’ll name the original song, you name the Weird Al parody version” or vice versa.
I would recognize more Weird Al than originals. “Oh, that’s Stuck in a closet with Vanna White! That’s based on… uh… The Price is Right theme song?”
Hmmm… there are three rounds, after all.
Round 1: Match the original song to the Weird Al parody.
Round A: Match the Weird Al parody to the original.
Round Alpha: Match the Weird Al non-parody original (polka?) to the album.
What about behind the scenes for some? “What is Al’s full name?” “What degree did he get in college?” “Who was the first instrument player to join his band?” “What is his name?” “What did he play in Al’s live debut of Another One Rides The Bus?”
…I am beginning to think I might know more than I need to know.
I’m waiting for a question I don’t know the answer to from this batch…
“What number star does Al have on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?”
2,643rd.
I didn’t know it off the top of my head, but I took a photo when I was there. Are the numbers visible? I don’t remember.
He mentioned it in his speech, but that’s the only way I’d know.
