Cabin Fever

calgodot writes, This new horror film from Lion’s Gate, directed by Eli Roth, is going to be a huge hit. It played at South by Southwest and blew people away. The IMDB entry has an average score of 6.4 out of 10 for it, with 55 votes so far. Of course, Titanic has a score of 6.9, so we know how little predictive power that score has for the financial success of a movie. Cabin Fever has no official site linked from the IMDB; can anyone give us a run-down? Should this be a movie we look at for our reviews?

  1. Trailer?
I searched high and low and came up with zilch on the trailer front. Lions Gate Films is distributing it, but they don’t have anything on their site regarding the film (except press releases).

Anyone have better luck than I?

The Toronto Star has an article up on it, which can be found here until the 28th of the month,(fourteen day limit) though it’s more of a “What’s going on at SXSW” article. The article has a brief summary of the movie, and from what I read, it sounds a lot like the original Evil Dead, (right down to the whole independently produced thing) which is hopefully a good thing.
