Firefly on SciFi UK?

Could just be a random message board posting, but… on Fox’s official Firefly board (yup, it’s still running), someone claiming to be Mark Sheppard (who played Badger in two episodes of Firefly) says that the UK’s SciFi channel will be airing Firefly in May. (The little gavel icon in that posting allegedly means that the poster really truly is associated with the show, for what little that may be worth.)

  1. Huzzah…. …kinda
Yet again us poor goits in the UK get a canned show after it dies a death in the US, only for it to devlop a solid following which doesn’t count for a thing. Sometimes life (or is that TV exec’s) just don’t play fair.

Hey, maybe you’ll get to see all the episodes…in the right order!
That wouldn’t be fair to us : )

Hmm.. I think Gina Torres might be a jinx or something. She appears as a semi-regular on Hercules, it ends shortly afterwards, she stars in Cleopatra 2525, it barely lasts 2 seasons, she appears in Firefly… hopefully Angel will not go the same way :/

P.S. – have you noticed that Firefly has replaced the Dead Zone? It is between seasons or have Sci-Fi UK just dropped it? :(
