She’s also not very good at spellcasting, to such a degree that her classmates refer to her as “Louise the Zero”. Hiraga Saito is an ordinary Japanese high school student living in Tokyo. During a test to summon a familiar from another world, while Louise’s classmates summon various magical beings… Louise ends up yanking Saito across the worlds. Finally, the picks of the week. Blaine says, “given how much additional material was added to The Hobbit, I don’t want to strongly recommend it until we see how it ends, since part three will make or break the saga, although part two was much stronger than part one. From this batch, the strongest recommendations I can give are the rereleases of the Criterion Collection titles and Doctor Who.” Alex says, “I haven’t seen The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug yet. I should really get around to doing that, and now that the film is out on DVD and Blu-Ray, I can.”
